Harry Potter

Harry Potter is a series of books written by the British author J.K Rowling.

This saga is divided in seven wonderful novels of wizardry and witchraft.

In Hogwarts Harry Potter will face a lot of danger with his good friend Ronald Wesley and Hermione Granger.

The first book was released in 1997, with the title Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. It tells the story of a little boy whose parents were killed by the Dark Lord Voldemort , the most dangerous wizard in the world, and went to life with his uncles in Little Whinging. A few years later, he receives a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft.

In the second book Harry discovers he has a weird connection with Lord Voldemort and snakes.

In the third book he finds out that he has a godfather, Sirius Black.

In The Goblet of Fire Harry participates in a tournament to find out who’s the best young witch or wizard.

In the fifth book Harry organises a group of young witches and wizards to defend Dumbledore’s honour and to face Voldemort and his subdits.

In the sixth book Harry and Dumbledore visit the childhood of Voldemort and they begin the search for his soul pieces, the horcruxes.

In the seventh and final book Harry finally fights against Voldemort.

Our group considers that this saga is a masterpiece of the British Literature. We appreciate it a lot because the author shows us the differences between Good and Evil, and the important values of our society.
